Just to keep it " real" with the Heggie's-- while Sarah (10) is enjoying all the 'Jesus areas' of her new school my sweet 6 year old Hannah got her " square" taken away in kinder class ( teacher chart) for spending too much time looking in the mirror at herself instead of coming back to listen to work directions...now that perfectly sums up our family dynamics-- "Vanity and Bible girl" 😜

My Sarah is loving her new school! She loves all the praying all day long--every start and stop and transition of the day the kids pray and share gratitude-- when they start school, snack, at technology class, at PE, before lunch, after- everywhere! She loves it and feels blessed to have such a Christ- centered environment called "school!"

Heggie kids--First day at Horizon Prep- uniforms, prayer and amazing families-- off to a great start!

Spent a great fun filled day in Children's hospital ER-- Luke scared to death to get stitches on his face- (shaking and crying) then afterwards thrilled that he had "wounds" to share on the first day of school Monday. Boys!!! They are crazy!!! BTW--I am SO very humbled EVERY time I am at Children's hospital and how so many families have gone through much worse thru those doors. ❤

My " hard- working" Hannah tells me after prayers at bedtime "I've figured it all out mom! If I only sleep on top of the covers I will NEVER have to make my bed again!" I say " what if you get cold?" she says " It's worth it mommy no work in the morning!" love her and laugh too...

What a blessing tonight-- Old neighbors coming to your NEW neighborhood and making us feel special-- thank you dear friends-- amazing!!!!

8 years ago today my sweet boy Luke joined our family! He is a gift from God and propels me to want to be a better mom and wife daily! Luke gives me a soft spot for ALL middle kids and he gives the best hugs! Happy birthday Lukers!!! We love you!
