Bragging on my kiddos..
Because your family and SMALL things ARE a BIG deal in our house... Have to share....
Luke -- lost a tooth at school ( w macho joy and one more loose tonight but camping with dad) plus Star Student of the week for his class (aka displayed the best character traits of his class this week...
Hannah-- moved her clip 2 of the four days UP to Super Star-- for a girl who wants to be called Sparkles in kindergarten/ doesn't mind disobeying AND usually we celebrate staying
" stays quo" /" staying on the monkey clip" this is major in our Hannah's class..
Sarah-- last night auditioned for her 5th CYT play and had the best audition of her life singing " It's Possible" from Seussical ( a broadway favorite of mine) and was so amazing and beautiful and tucked it she was CALLED BAC tonight for script reading and speaking parts for Beauty and the Beast CYT play--- wow-- the song title and her performance made me cry- literally... My friend taped it for me bit sound was off so cannot send to you--she was amazing and bright me to tears...
A three kids this week ShOWED their "best selves" as God created them to be individually and I wanted you, the immediate family, to celebrate with me-- their CHaRACTER, not their achievements with me-- which mean way more---

( as mamma bear) and knowing these moments are the BIG moments in mine and God's eyes....

The sweet spot: when your kids passions and gifts involve Jesus AND mine (as the parent ) for her do too='s CYT-- thank you God for specifically allowing my Sarah to love CYT ( Christian Youth Theater) as much as I do-- we are praying for you Sar Bear and hoping you get a part in the play you want!!! Love you!!!

Lord I pray that I can be the light in our family to my husband, kids and mom, in laws, etc that Jesus is alive... Gosh I'm growing weary trying to be the encourager and " soft" I'm sorry one. Lord I just want to hear gratitude too and I'm lost trying to wrestle my emotions around each persons live language and how to encourage each of them in the way THEY need to be loved. I'm struggling lately and I want to be positive but it's hard... Thank you Jesus for being the rock where I can cry out my prayers and thoughts daily and even hourly.
